HOMEMADE BURGER BUNS

  • 12g fresh yeast
  • 150 ml lukewarm soy milk
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 80g graham flour
  • 170g wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Handfull sunflower seeds
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp mild chili powder

INSTRUCTIONS

  • First mix the yeast with the lukewarm soy milk until the yeast is dissolved
  • Then mix in the oil, sugar and salt
  • If you want sunflower seeds and the spices/herbs in your buns, mix it in now, if you don’t want it, leave it out :).
  • Next step is to mix in the flour little by little. Maybe you’ll need more flour than I used or maybe less. Mix in the flour until everything begins to come together. Then begin to knead the dough, until your dough is nicely smooth and doesn’t stick to the surface.
  • Let the dough rest for 40 m – 1 h somewhere with room temperature, or just let it rest until you need to use it.
  • When you’re dough is done resting, put the buns in the oven(200°) for 15 m
