Pizza w. cauliflower, potatoes & tomatoes

  • 25 g fresh yeast 
  • 370 ml lukewarm water
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil 
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 100 g graham flour
  • 550 g all-purpose flour


  • 250 g cauliflower
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 juice from a lemon
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp black salt / kala namak (optional) 
  • 8 potatoes
  • 15-20 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 red onion
  • Vegan cheese (or whatever you prefer)
  • Rosemary 

Tahini dressing: 

  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 1,5 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 juice from a lemon
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tsp salt


  • Parsley


  1. First start by making your pizza dough (unless you’re using an already-made dough). Whisk together the fresh yeast and lukewarm water. Next add the sugar, salt and olive oil and whisk it together until the salt and sugar has dissolved.

  2. Next add all the graham flour and then little by little add the all-purpose flour, while you knead the dough. When all the flour is in the mix, knead the dough for 10 m. and afterwards let it sit for 1 hour in a bowl with a cloth over it (or more, if you have the time).

  3. While the dough is doing its thing – it’s time to prep your toppings. Peel your potatoes, wash your tomatoes and chop them in half. Wash your cauliflower and chop it into small chunks. Cut your red onion into half, and cut it into thin slices. 

  4. When your done prepping your veggies, it’s time to boil your potatoes for around 20 m., and while they’re boiling, it’s time to fry your cauliflower. Put the cauliflower, sesame oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, black salt and olive oil in the pan, and fry it on medium-high heat for 10 m. and stir around occasionally – it can occur that the frying process will dry out, so just add some splashes of water, if it happens. When the potatoes are done boiling, cool them down and cut them into slices. 

  5. When you’re done prepping and cooking the toppings, and your dough has been sitting for 1 hour, you’re ready to make your pizza. Turn on the oven on 200°C. Split the dough in two, and then roll it out; use 30-50 g of flour for this process, so it doesn’t stick to the surface. When you’ve rolled out the pizza, top it with tomato sauce and then the rest of the toppings (tomatoes, red onion, vegan cheese, cauliflower, potatoes and rosemary) and drizzle a bit of olive oil on the top. Then pop it in the oven for around 25 m.

  6. While the pizza is in the oven, chop your parsley really fine and mix together the tahini dressing. Just put all the ingredients into a bowl and mix together until smooth.

  7. When your pizza has been in the oven for 25 m. take it out and top it with the parsley and tahini dressing – and then it’s ready to be eaten!
